I desire that in my relationship with my Jesus. I want to know Him. I want to have that understanding of Him. I want His thoughts to be my thoughts. I want to be led by Him. I want to be saturated by Him until I'm overflowing.
The time to start is now. I am serious. I am building an altar to the Most High for here is where I start. I will come back to this place as a reminder. I'm not turning back! Amen Lord Jesus - only with Your help!
Hosea 10:12
Sow for yourselves righteousness Reap in mercy;
Break up your fallow ground
For it is time to seek the LORD
Till He comes and rains righteousness on you!
Sow for yourselves righteousness Reap in mercy;
Break up your fallow ground
For it is time to seek the LORD
Till He comes and rains righteousness on you!

That's one of my favorite verses... thanks for the reminder :)
Sounds like you're on the right track. Someone just told me recently that life is like a ralroad, 2 rails. One side is hardship, setbacks, trials etc. The other is faith, prayer, seeing God's hand in answered prayer. The track should be pretty even.
Love the new backround too :)
Yep, Rick Warren said that-- Leslie was sharing it with me not too long ago. A much better picture than the roller coaster analogy that's so frequently used, in my opinion.
As for Shannon.... howdy, gal!! I so miss you!!
Love your blog and this post. This passage of scripture is so awesome. Makes me think of history yesterday...When the pioneers were trying to break up the ground in the plains, they found their plows were not strong enough. The wooden plows broke, the iron plows didn't work because the soil stuck to them. The only plow that worked that hard soil was one made of steel.
Hi Heather! Gretchen let me take a peek at your blog awhile back and your family is beautiful! Congrats on the baby girl too, she is lovely. Glad to see you all doing so well :)
